Art-Glass®
|
| The introduction of composite materials several years ago has added a new dimension to quality indirect restorations. We have experience with different systems and can advise on suitability as required.
Art-Glass®
Artglass is a light cured polymer glass and is repairable in the mouth.
Artglass is a light curing Polyglas® material, containing Microglas®. It has high mechanical strength, making it suitable for restorations with or without metal support. Its applications without metal support include veneers, inlays, onlays and polyglas crowns. It can be used with metal for single crowns, bridges, Maryland bridges or on removable restorations such as telescopic crowns, tapered crowns and attachment work. The paste is a multifunction methacrylic acid ester (30%), silicon dioxide and barium - aluminium - silicate glass, silanized (70%), photo-initiators, stabilisers and inorganic pigments. We have found Artglass to be a reliable, aesthetic and easy to use system. The restorations are easy on opposing teeth and are repairable in the mouth if required. |
